The final score was 35-7. The game took place at Delaware Valley High School. Jason Henderson scored 2 rushing touchdowns for Delaware Valley. Preston Machado and Paulie Weinrich scored 1 rushing touchdown apiece. Delaware Valley offensive lineman Ryan Battaglia intercepted the ball then ran it in for a touchdown at 7:46 left to play in the second quarter extending Delaware Valley's lead 27-0. Cormac Starr made the extra point kick that pushed the lead to 28-0. Starr successfully made several extra point kicks during the contest. The Delaware Valley Warriors earned a 35-0 lead over the North Pocono Trojans by halftime. Korry Eisley scored North Pocono's only touchdown. Brady Mapes made the extra point kick. Team records: Delaware Valley Warriors 3-1. North Pocono Trojans 2-2.

The game took place at Sparta High School. Brendan Cina and Austen Frattura split time at the quarterback position for Sparta. Frattura passed for 189 yards resulting in one touchdown. Cina passed for 69 yards and achieved one rushing touchdown. Wide receivers James Maloney and Luke Szabo each caught a pass for a touchdown. Running back Sam Esposito scored three rushing touchdowns. Joseph Byrnes scored a touchdown off an end zone fumble recovery. Quarterback Theodore Fisher connected with receiver Caleb Rippey for a 31-yard touchdown for Jefferson Township.   • La Salle College High School (Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania) defeated Delaware Valley High School (Westfall Township, Pennsylvania) in varsity football on Friday, October 2, 2020. The final score was 27-23. Delaware Valley High School hosted the game. Football fans were not allowed to be inside the stadium because of Covid-19 restrictions. Only essential personnel, The Delaware Valley High School Marching Band and cheerleaders were in attendance to watch the game. A few fans cheered the teams from outside the stadium fence.Timothy Mehlmann scored two rushing touchdowns for La Salle. Matthew Bowes and Justin Machita  scored a touchdown. Aiden Black, Mark Callanan and Cooper Kidd each scored a touchdown for Delaware Valley. Team records: Delaware Valley Warriors 0-1. La Salle Explorers 2-0.

The semifinal round of the North Jersey Section 1, Group 3 tournament took place at Sparta High School.  Aidan Mastandrea scored a game-high 16 points for Sparta. Mike Piwko scored 11 points. Dean Alkovic and Luke Szabo scored 7 points apiece. Colby Plotts scored 4 points and Rashir Scott scored 1 point. Lenape Valley Patriots lose to North Warren Patriots

  • North Warren Regional High School (Warren County, New Jersey) defeated Lenape Valley Regional High School (Sussex County, New Jersey) in girls varsity basketball on Friday, February 28, 2020. The final score was 67-47. The game took place at  Lenape Valley Regional High School. North Warren accomplished a commanding lead over Lenape Valley by the score of 44-14 by halftime. Tiffani Szkarlatiuk scored 15 points to lead North Warren's victory. Quincey McGuinness added 13 points. Clare Kelly Saalfield scored nine points. Brienna Pangborn scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Lenape Valley. Laney Kenny scored 16 points. This was the last regular season contest. Lenape Valley will not participate in the playoffs due to a losing record. But North Warren will go on to play in the varsity sectionals. Team records: Lenape Valley Patriots 7-20. North Warren Patriots 22-4.

Lenape Valley Patriots lose to Kittatinny Cougars on home court

  • Kittatinny Regional High School (Hampton Township, New Jersey) defeated Lenape Valley Regional High School (Stanhope, New Jersey) in boy's varsity basketball on Friday, February 21, 2020. The final score was 55-47. Lenape Valley Regional High School hosted the game. The Kittatinny Cougars and the Lenape Valley Patriots were locked in a 24-24 tie by halftime. But Kittatinny pulled ahead of Lenape Valley and maintained a slight lead through the second half. Brian Plath and Dylan Modafferi scored 19 points apiece for Kittatinny.
