A Not So Scarey Halloween Party was held in Wantage on saturday at the Elias Van Bunschooten Museum.Nick and Carolyn Moran of Branchville came with their clydsdale Jack dressed from the movie Brave as Merida and Angus with Nick as the Scottish Clan. Hot dogs and cookies along with fresh cider were available for sale. A hay bale maze, crafts, tattoos, donut eating contest, costume contest, haunted house and more.

Pink Friday - Warwick, NY - 10/19/12

Although the weather did improve after 4 p.m., heavy rain throughout the day discouraged many visitors from attending the first annual Pink Friday on October 19.
Nevertheless, the celebration to support the battle against breast cancer, was a financial success.
Proceeds of the event, sponsored by the Bon Secours Charity Health System and organized by the Warwick Merchants Guild, were earmarked for Miles of Hope, a nonprofit charity that funds support services and outreach for people affected by breast cancer in the eight counties of the Hudson Valley.

The morning of Sunday, October 14 started out damp, cool and cloudy but by mid-day it was unseasonably warm and sunny as the Village of Warwick and the organizers welcomed an estimate of almost 30,000 visitors to the 24th annual celebration of Applefest.
