'Soul Jahs of Yoga - Benefit for Elaine Mazurek' took place on March 23rd at the Andrea Powers Studio, providing a place for those in the West Milford area to exercise and de-stress for a great cause. The event raised over $1100 to help Elaine and her family through this tough time. Andrea Powers says, "Just helping causes and people get well mentally and physically is why we are in business". West Milford residents answered the call and filled the special yoga sessions of low-impact exercise for a cause with a high impact.

The 160 acre farm, owned by the Demarest family from 1818 to 1860, when it was purchased by the Barrett family. The Barretts operated it continuously from 1860 to 1986 with very few changes to the original farming methods.
