These pictures were just taken at the Walkill Wildlife Refuge off of Oil City Road in the Town of Warwick. The larger Blue Heron is a more common sight in the marshlands and are quite impressive when they have their wings outstretched during landing. The smaller Green Heron is harder to spot and can be seen walking along the shoreline searching for small fish to eat.
